Music

As an artist I love making immersive and all-consuming experiences, my goal as a writer and a poet is to transport the reader to unknown lands and situations, accompanied by weird and wonderful characters. So, to me, creating a unique style of music for one of those worlds – The Empyraeum – seemed like a no-brainer. Music is, after all, the most universal language of them all.

The music of the Empyraeum Cycle was an experiment into the idea of how music would evolve without a Roman influence at all, what if The East, Tribal rythmns, and the voices of Ancient Greece dominated but evolved as modernity drew its music along.

The results are quite beautiful and rather unique as the ideas of modern, possibly electronic, versions of ancient instruments of the Old World bled into the overall weave of the music. Epic, powerful, at times unsettling, on occasions heart warming and beautiful, The Music of The Empyraeum is available on Spotify and, perhaps soon, special edition physical copy.
